Dell introduces Latitude 2100 Netbook for classroom

Dell today announced a netbook designed for school kids from K-12. This netbook features an Intel Atom processor and is priced starting $369 (kind of steep!). We don’t think that students in Portland will go in droves to buy this netbook. There are much better deals on netbooks available these days. The students have also become a lot more sophistacated. They would like to see something more cool looking… Dell should visit one of the Beaverton schools and watch what student carry.. most have an Apple IPOD (if not an Iphone) which says that they really care about the looks.
